This is a true story, handed down to me by a friend who heard it from a woman
that he used to work with. She was driving on an Interstate highway in Ohio
when she was stopped by an Ohio State Trooper, for speeding. As he was
approaching her vehicle she got out her license and rolled down the window.
When he reached the window, she exclaimed ",I suppose this means I have to buy
tickets to the policeman's ball." The officer replied, very seriously ",Lady,
the state police don't have any balls." She just looked at him incredulously
as he turned red, then turned around and went back to his cruiser and left!
