Granted, it's offensive to some people, but anyone who would go
to such lengths as asking for an apology is overeacting.  I remember
the old "jroff" program: that was offensive, but I thought it was
funny.  The BLKTRAN article should never have been written, but
nobody should start treating the author like mud.  Just calm down ...
I mean, nobody cared about VALGOL, now did they?
