One of my favorites is "pepperoni pizza: never get here" Continuing on the subject of unusual messages, at one place I worked, there were several different printer types each requiring its own flavor of carriage control. In particular, the oldest type of printer, when presented with the carriage control characters for a different printer, had the delightful habit of never producing a line feed; as a result, your entire listing came out on a single line. One day when I came in to use the machine that had the old printer on it, the person before me had obviously been using the wrong driver. They had, however, issued manual spacing commands and managed to get a single intelligible line out. It read: TERROR IN THE OUTPUT FILE A A (The 'A's were a result of the wrong carriage control) Happy computing...
