I know that this does not belong in net.jokes, but it is here
anyway -- flames to /dev/null.....

To all those who say that BLKTRAN was not that bad, perhaps you
have just not been exposed to extreme, unreasonable prejudice lately.
If we do not all work in every way to stop sexist, racial, and
religious prejudice; we will never stop things like this:

My lady friend and I stopped for gasoline at a small north Alabama
country store this Sunday night.  She walked in the store to look
around, and was accosted by a rather intoxicated black man who committed
the heinous crime of saying [prepare to be shocked here], "Hi."
My friend said, "Hi" back; the storekeeper (a white male) immediately said,
"You #@%@% nigger, shut up!"  Then, turning to my friend, he said,
"Did he bother you, ma'am?"  My friend, who was raised in Virginia
and North Carolina with almost no glimpses of serious prejudice, replied
"You a**hole!" as her jaw hit the floor in disbelief.  She later commented
that she was surprised the man had not had her lynched as a "nigger-lover"
because she said "Hi" back to the black man.

As for sexual prejudice, she (one of the top timeshare marketing people
in the country) was at a business meeting when the chief client said,
in the middle of a crowded meeting for all to hear,  [rot 13]:

"V org lbh tvir terng urnq."

To which she replied, [rot 13 again]:

"V fher qb, ohg lbh'yy arire svaq bhg!!"  She then walked out, taking
with her the most successful timeshare marketing program in America
at the time.

Let's eliminate prejudice in every aspect of our daily lives; we
all have to live together!!
