                                  Wishy-Washy

               (scene: TV commercial of a new laundry detergent )
	       (       Commentator stands behind a susdy washtub)
	       (       holding a box of new Wishy-Washy.........)

	"Here is a new laundry detergent called Wishy-Washy, and I'm going to
    	"demonstrate it for you:"

    	"Here we have a dirty shirt!" (holds up something that looks like it's
    	it been under the street too long.)
    	"It looks dirty!"
    	"It feels dirty!"
    	"It  smells (ugh!) dirty".   He dumps it into tub and this  graphic 
     shows on the TV:

    	********WISHY-WASHY********WISHY-WASHY*********WISHY-WASHY*********
    	
    	The  screen  clears  and  our guide holds up a  CLEAN  shirt  (yes, 
    really).

    	"It looks clean,"
    	"It feels clean,"
    	"and it smells clean!"

    	Putts  down the shirt and holds up a dirty dress:  "Here we have  a
    dirty dress:"

    	"It looks dirty,"
    	"It feels dirty,"
    	"and it smells (very) dirty!"

    	Again, the graphic appears as we hear the scrubbing start...

    	Once again our hero reveals a clean garment.

    	"It looks clean,"
    	"It feels clean,"
    	"and it smells clean!"

    	He  puts  the dress down over the shirt and lifts a  pair  of  dark 
    grey rags.

    	"Here we have a pair of dirty socks:"

    	"They look dirty,"
    	"They feel slime...er dirty!"
    	"and they (phew!!) smell dirty!"

    	As we are tossed into the twilight zone for the 3rd time,  Mr. Wash 
  is again scrubbing away......

    	....and  suddenly  we're  through the  horrorible  haunting  words, 
  and...

    	"They look clean,"
    	"they feel clean,"
    	"and they sm..(sniff)...smell clean!"  

    	He drops the socks and SUPRISE!!!!

    	"Here we ha..have a dirty diaper thingy..."

    	....pause as the draftie looks to the director.....

    	"It sure looks dirty...."
    	"I...it (uooooooog!) feels dirty.."
    	"and it (snirf..ahem...) smells dirty..."

    	Somehow  we  are relieved to see the all too mighty words  move 
    across the TV...

    	"It looks .... clean,"
    	"It sorta feels clean..."
    	"It...........(sniff, sniff)...."
