Here is a limerick which I had to laugh at (being an aspiring college prof.)
Sometimes I certainly think it models life here at purdue well.

There once was an old man from Esser
Who's knowledge grew lesser and lesser
It at last grew so small
He knew nothing at all
And now he's a College Professor

(no apologies to anyone who is offended.  Besides, it's all in fun anyway.)
