A challenge?  Surely you jest.  Actually there's a lot more funny about
us white folk than we realize.

How many white bigots does it take to put an end to Usenet?

One to spew forth a series of obscene articles offending anyone 
	sensitive to the feelings of other people.
One to come to his defense and say "it's all in fun."
One to say that there's nothing wrong with ethnic humor, that he tells Polish
	jokes himself and he's Polish, and that some of his best friends
	are Negroes.
One who says that lily-livered liberals should keep their mouths shut and then
	tells an even more disgusting joke about "two niggers and a kike walking
	down the street".
One to be an outraged manager who somehow gets to read all of this, who shuts
	his/her site off from the net, who tells the first and fourth bigots
	(both of whom happen to work for him) never to do that again, and who
	then tells the jokes at his/her next cocktail party.


I guess those of us who *do* have some degree of sensitivity to the feelings of
other people have to realize that there is nothing we can do to change those
who don't.  They're out there, they're probably going to continue to tell
really hysterical jokes that mock the suffering of other people and that
contribute to ill will among human beings of different backgrounds.  They
probably think that's perfectly all right.  No amount of flaming at them will
change their points of view, so don't expect a sudden "Oh, I see, that joke
degrades all black people [they'd probably say Negroes, but...] and that's
not a good thing to do.  I'm sorry."  These things don't happen in this part
of the universe...
