                           Research Fellow

A Research Fellowship is available within the Programming Systems
Development Group.  This post, funded by the Science and Engineering
Research Council for a period of two years, is to provide a high
performance Prolog system for workers in Intelligent Knowledge Based
Systems.

A good knowledge of the C programming language and UNIX will be
required.  Previous experience in implementing and mounting
language systems, and an acquaintance with Prolog, would be an
advantage.

Applicants should have a PhD in a relevant area or equivalent
industrial experience.  The appointment will be made on the IA
salary range, 7190 - 11615 pounds sterling, according to age
and experience.  The post is funded for a period of two years
from the date of appointment.
