On September 30th I called MCI Mail (800-MCI-9900) and requested information
on the MCI Mail service.  It arrived today.  These are the most interesting
features.

MCI Mail provides electronic origination of mail from a terminal (personal
computer, word processor, etc).  They offer 4 delivery options, 4 hour hand
delivery ($25), noon next day ($6), US Mail ($2), or users electronic MCI
mailbox ($1).  This is for the first 7500 characters-- additional are $1 per
7500 characters.  They claim this is the only charge-- no connect time, no
monthly service fee.  The brochure says you get $2 free credit to sign up.
