Lines: 20 This is a followup on my message of last friday. In addition to the discussion in net.mail, I've received four letters directly, which state, with varying degrees of vehemence, that any site wishing to make use of this service should connect directly. For the record: the only reason I haven't named the company doing this, is that my decision to start this discussion was my own, and not done at their request. I expect them to make a public announcement in the near future. (Besides, you've never heard of them anyway.) Since I knew that they plan to go ``on the air'' soon, it seemed reasonable to start this discussion now (trying to avoid any bias either for or against the service) to get a feel for how people would react, rather than finding out after the fact. I will pass any comments along to the relevant people. Fred Blonder harpo!seismo!umcp-cs!fred fred.umcp-cs@CSNet-Relay
