  MOTHER/DAUGHTER MATCHING PROBLEM

Five mothers, each accompanied by a daughter enter
a store to buy dress material.  Each person buys as
many yards of material as she pays in cents per yard.
Also, each mother spends exactly $4.05 more than her
daughter.  In addition:

   1.  Mrs. Green buys 11.5 times as much material as
       Jean.

   2.  Mrs. Jones buys 6 yards more than Mrs. White.

   3.  Ann spends $16.00 more than 9 times as much as
       Betty spends.

   4.  Susie spends $15.25 less than Mrs. Smith.

   5.  Mrs. Brown spends most of all.


PROBLEM:  What is Mary's last name?
