OOPS!!!!!!  i made an iff switch.

i ment to say:

                         N
if N is NOT prime, then 2 -1 is NOT prime.

however if P is prime, it is not always the case that

 P
2 -1 is prime.  2047 is not prime, while  P=11 is.
