The NEC PC-8201 is indeed available. My boss has one and it works fine.
She found a dealer by calling NEC and asking.

By the way, they told her they're bringing out an add-in ROM this Fall
that will contain a spreadsheet package and a database manager, which
makes it quite a bit more useful.
