What's Venix got to do with CPM? Venix, like Xenix, UTS, and Unity, is an O.S. based on original UNIX source. As of a couple of years ago, it had V7 system calls and V6 filesystem and was targeted primarily for the non-split I/D PDP-11's. Now I understand that they distribute systems for the VAX also. The company is VenturCom and they are located in Cambridge, Mass, near MIT.
