Priced in the US at $669 for one model, $1269 for another, it appears to have better sound and graphics abilities (even animation) than the PC, but I don't know about memory, disk drives, etc., though I believe that $669 gets you 64K. No more details than that in the account I saw (PBS's Nightly Business Report). The big news is that it won't be delivered until 1Q 84-- AFTER Christmas. IBM expects to sell $1B (yes, B as in billion) worth of them in 84.
