I agree with Darrell that it's unfortunate Watt wasn't forced to resign
for his asinine environmental policies (my wording, not Darrell's).
I also regret that his replacement is likely to have similar policies.
We must remember that Watt would not have stayed in office so long, or
been able to carry out his policies with such wild abandon if his
employer didn't agree completely.  Perhaps in 84 there will be some
better choice available (although every possible candidate I've heard
about is a confirmed turkey in some way or another).
