Recently I came across a problem from the Physics Olympics:
build the tallest possible tower from a 8-1/2 by 11 inch
sheet of paper, and 50cm of tape.  My friends
and I have come up with several possibilities.
As I understand it, the winners of the Olympics
built their tower to 9ft, limited by the roof.
The tower must be free standing (no fishing line
to the ceiling or taping it to the floor!)
