The plan for Turner Broadcasting to buy out the Satellite News
Channels, Inc. was submitted to the federal government anti-trust
people for approval, and such approval has apparently been granted.

While I don't much care for CNN Headline News, and feel that SNC
has been providing a useful service, there is little that can 
be done: SNC lost over $40 million last year -- Westinghouse
and Group W wanted to get out now since it wasn't clear that
they'd ever recover *any* money if they waited much longer.
