American Pop was a good flick, and I enjoyed it very much. And ves Levis commercials use Rotoscoping. But this process is a hell of alot older that you think ! Try about the 16th century in Japan ! Japanese artisians were using this process for quite a long time ! For more information I would suggest you go to a public or school library and look up ancient Japanese arts. ( I found out about this process by looking through a Japanese magazine designed for english reading folks ) BTW Ralph Bashki is a great animator, but he only REDISCOVERED rotoscoping ! (He was the first comtemporary WESTERN animator to do so) Keith Fung Mitre Bedford, Mass.
