Disney used Rotoscoping to a reasonable degree in some of his films. Bakshi (in my humble opinion) overdoes it and tends to be careless. Lord of the Rings was his biggest travesty in this area. Bakshi's original works aren't bad (Wizards was excellent), but his LotR was offensively slipshod. He didn't even bother to look in the back of the book to see how names should be pronounced. -Glenn
