Very good, although he (Bergman) goes into bizarre mode after the first half of the movie. If you're a Bergman fan, do see it. I didn't find it depressing (as many people consider his films), but it brought out many mixed emotions in me -- mainly hate, hate, hate. It is long (slightly under 3.5 hours), but NEVER boring. Beautiful photography, and an inside view of the Swedish upper class in 1907. In Swedish, with subtitles. I'll give it a 9 out of 10. -- Theodore Hope School of ICS, Georgia Tech, Atlanta GA CSNet: Hope @ GaTech ARPA: Hope.GaTech @ UDel-Relay uucp: ...!{akgua,allegra,rlgvax,sb1,unmvax,ut-ngp,ut-sally}!gatech!Hope
