I've read the book by Stephen King and enjoyed it very much, which is
why I'm leery about the movie. I'd like to hear from someone who has
read the book AND seen the movie. I was terribly dissapointed with
The Shining because I had read the book first and thought the book was
GREAT! The movie had none of the thrilling suspense and terror of the
book. Perhaps seeing the movie FIRST is better; then I might have enjoyed
it more.
