   The three ratings used before the X-R-PG-G system were:

   M - Mature. Corresponds roughly to R (restricted) in the current system.

   MYP - Mature Young People. Corresponds roughly to PG.

    G - same as now.

    Films currently rated X were simply not produced or not allowed to be
    shown in commercial theatres in those days.
