Nobody mentioned Geddy Lee of Rush!! I can't believe it!!
He was nominated best rock bassist for I don't know how
many years in Guitar World. Besides that, just listen to
'Signals' and you'll know that these guys are the premier
rock musicians of today.

P.S. Drummer Neil Peart has gone into Modern Drummers hall
     of fame and came in second or third in a number of other
     catagories. Guitarist Alex Lifeson also won best rock
     guitarist (i think, i know he was in the top 2 or 3)
     in Guitar World.
