In response to a recent posting on fave bass players... it's "Belew," not
"Beliew" (I know, pick-pick-pick, but (sp?) was attached to his name).  And
I believe that he is a >guitarist< with King Crimson, as on his two excellent
solo LP's, "Lone Rhino" and "Twang Bar King," both available on Atlantic.
