A while back, I posted a suggestion to net.misc to form a new group
dedicated to the discussion of genealogy under the name net.genealogy.
I have received about 18 responses in favor of the group and since I
spelled geneAlogy wrong in the initial article, it was suggested that
the name be something simpler like net.roots.

It was suggested to me my many netter that this request should have been
posted here and in addition, that this group would be seen by additional
netters who do not read net.misc.

So, if your interested and have not responded before (because of the net.misc
article) let me know.  They say 20 interested parties should be enough and
its almost there.  Thanks!
