Just the other day, in Jimmy Breslin's "Forsaking All Others," I came across the word "crossstreet." He didn't hyphenate it. Neither of my dictionaries lists this word, although one of them does list "cross-stitch" with a hyphen. How about it, folk -- is "crossstreet" a word?
