We have bought 3 over the last 6 years. Many graphics terminal makers use the Bitpad. They now make a 15"x15" one (which we just bought). It can produce binary as well as ASCII formatted data. The binary data format is five times as efficient. Both RS-232 and parallel outputs are available. Cost is $1000-$1500. Summagraphics now also makes a mouse/tablet combo. I think its called the Summamouse. I understand that the founder of Summagraphics has left that company to form another company (something like Display Interface) which also produces a mouse/tablet combo. I hope this helps.
