I would imagine the same principes apply. Dogs need a certain amount of oil in their food. Unfortunately, most dry foods do not contain enough. You can go to the pet shop and buy something called "linatone" which sells for about $4 for just a few ounces, or simply go to the grocery store and get peanut oil. Dogs also like bacon fat. BE AWARE that very little is needed on a daily basis (about a teaspoon) Feeding more can lead to purging of the intestines (I guess it makes the food slip thru too fast!). This oil will keep the pets skin and fur from being dry - which contributes to the fall out. -- Larry Marek ihnp4!ihuxf!larry
