A billion dollars ago was late yesterday at the U.S. Treasury. If 1 year = about 600 billion dollars = about 30 million seconds, then 1 second = 20,000 dollars. Using c (the speed of light) as a conversion factor, $1 = 1/20 msec = about 15 kilometers. It looks to me like a dollar goes farther than you think! -- Steve
