All right, people, fair is fair.  You can't have it both ways.

If the Soviet Union can invade Afghanistan, surely the United States
can invade Grenada.  After all, Grenada is much smaller.

Alternatively:

If the United States can establish military bases in Germany, surely
the Soviet Union can establish military bases in Grenada.  After all,
Grenada is much smaller.

Trying to see both sides of the issue while keeping tongue in cheek
(surely an anatomical unlikelihood at best),
