You can't have it both ways. If the Soviet Union can invade Afghanistan, surely the United States can invade Grenada. After all, Grenada is much smaller. Alternatively: If the United States can establish military bases in Germany, surely the Soviet Union can establish military bases in Grenada. After all, Grenada is much smaller.
