I am curious about persons opinons about rail mass transit.  I have seen
many government (local, state, national) leaders on a bent to implement
all types of systems depending on what the government will fund.  My
question to people who use these systems is: Are they worth it?  What
systems are considered to be state of the art as far as command and control
are concerned?  Would ever want to work on such a system as a software
designer, if you enjoy realtime control applications?
