Fellow schussboomers,
     I will be in the Southern California area to  
visit my parents (Lancaster, 2 hrs. north of LA)
and to attend a business conference (San Diego),
Nov. 24 thru Dec. 4.  Is there any chance of getting
a few runs in while I'm there.  What might be open?
What is worth going to if it is open?  I plan to
bring only the rock skis.  I understand that Mammoth
usually opens in October.  I do appreciate any help.  THINK SNOW!
