The song you're referring to is "The Ballad of the Titanic", or
some such title, and is by Jaime Brockett (spelling?).  I picked
up the album its on in college after hearing this song.  The rest is
very mild and uninteresting folk/rock.  The song in question is pretty
funny, if long.  If anyone wants more info, I'll check my record collection
for the exact album title, code, company, etc.
