We could discuss the ridiculous new format in the NBA for having sixteen (read ridiculous number of) teams in the playoffs. No longer does winning one's division really mean anything. We can discuss who will stop the Doctor this year, and why Ralph Sampson is the most overrated player in the history of basketball. We can rejoice together over CBS' firing of Bill Russell and wonder why CBS changed their opening music for the championsip series l And of course college ball. Can a non-ACC team win the championship? Will Kenny Fields really bring the Bruins back into the top spot? Will the non-unity in terms of shot clocks and three-point-shots destroy the hopes of any independents? and college ball in general? Actually, net.sport is used infrequently enough that we could converse from this newsgroup, but the point is, *we* have to start the discussion rolling. DW Yale
