I`m talking worse than the `99 Clev Spiders! He doesn`t know baseball, so he has to come up with stories that someone probably wrote for him. His interview with Reagan was the pits! He gives us Denny`s story and 2 innings later we get Denny retelling it. The bit about Bowie "Lame Duck" Kuhn was totally unnecessary. Howard just wants to make us think he`s so in tune with Kuhn that he`s got an inside story. Howard also always cheers for the winning team. This is especially true on the Monday NFL games, but notice how he goes overboard anytime anyone makes a good play. And if a team comes back, he always gives you the "Oh, they`re such a great comeback team". Howard, I wish you`d go away and NEVER come back. Weaver is a very intelligent man when it comes to baseball. Having him in the booth is a big plus, but Cosell is SO bad that it`s not balanced. I`d love to hear Al Michaels, who`s good in his own right, tell him to shut up! I thought about doing the "Great American Switch-off" and turning on CBS sports for the audio. Anyone know who`s doing the radio and if it would be worth it just so I don`t have to listen to Howard the horrific? Philly in 5!! Tom O`Connor
