The Mouth is sometimes interesting.  However, he doesn't stop when he
ceases to be so.  For example, he may state some interesting fact about
some player which makes that individual almost saintly because of the
words used.  That would be OK except that he does this for EVERY player.

I find that Earl Weaver spends a significant amount of time correcting
Howard's impressions.  It also seems to me that Howard is starting to
let Earl do more talking and just agreeing with Earl more often.
If the trend continues, Howard will be tolerable.  Then again, no
man can know when Howard will be tolerable just as no man can know
when the Coming of the Lord is to happen.

As far as Brent is concerned, at least he gives scores.  He also appears
less than Howard, so the dosage is less concentrated.

Hey Andy, the title of your article mentioned your predictions.  Well...?
