While I was in school, during 4 years NU won, I think, 4 games and tied 1 or 2. They were well into the ultimate losing streak when I left. Last year, they finally turned their program around. I think that it is disgusting what Iowa did to them last week. Over 700 yards total offense. Hayden Fry ought to be shot! This is about as bad as the 84-13 Nebraska romp over Minnesota! What do these schools prove by running up the score like that. I kind of liked Iowa before this game, but now I hope thankful that the Illini whupped them the week before (33-0, I think). NU is obviously not as good as it was last year. Iowa's performance was way overkill. The only nice thing about it was that they let NU score some TDs. I normally hate Michigan, but I hope they whup Iowa this year and knock them out of the Rose Bowl chase. I believe that NU can win 2 or 3 games this year. They already beat Indiana and they still have to play Minnesota and Purdue. Hail to Purple, Hail to White La-de-da (I forget the words) Northwestern. Scott Pector P.S. By the way, I wish NU would get put on probation to convince some of the stellar prep athletes that NU bribes as well as the best. To compete in Division IA, one has to try harder. Let's also lower those entrance score requirements to those of the meat factories (Ohio State, USC, Oklahoma, Georgia, etc.).
