Wait a minute, something's wrong here!!  Is Ms. Helgesen
just trying to see how many 'flames' she can generate??  Is
Joan planning to thoroughly amuse herself by reading all the 
flaming responses to her opinion of Monday Night Football???
I want to believe that Ms. Helgesen is of sound mind and that she
has a warped sense of humor.  That would explain her 'complaints'
about her Monday nite TV viewing being ruined by MNF.  
Certainly no one would say something like that unless they were
just kidding around??  I mean, MNF has been around for about 13 years!!
Those 'mud-wrestling' men comments are funny, too.  I think Joan might be a 
good stand-up comic without much effort.  Of course, the lines about 
'grown men chasing a piece of pigskin' need updating, but all in all
the lady is good!! Ha ha, ho ho...stop it, my sides are aching!!

Hey Joan, how about some bits on golf...ya know, like about grown
men chasing little balls around and hitting them with a stick and
trying to make them roll into a hole in the ground??  Did ya hear 
the one about the grown men throwing a chunk of horsehide around,
and some men trying to hit this piece of horsehide and the other men
stand around and try to catch the horsehide???  I'll be watching
Late Night with David Letterman, please post to net.sport the date
of your debut.  Also any more humorous pieces about sports; please
post them, too.  Us 'dummies' love those sports jokes!!
