Maybe if you learned the rules and strategy you would like it better. It's funny, but I think that after people watch football for a while (a few games, not a few minutes), they get interested. Another way to get interested is to pick a team you want to root for (your alma mater, or home-town team?) and follow them. After a while, you may start enjoying the game.
