I'm a big fan of football myself, and I like to see good games, not runaways. Why, if a teams fourth string can beat team b's first string, is team a even playing team b at all? For instance, four or five years ago (or however many the AD wants to say the schedule(s) were made up) Nebraska was a top-20 team and Northwestern was either mediocore or starting their losing streak. Why was this game scheduled back then? I am not saying that Nebraska is or isn't number one, all I'm saying is, that a number one team plays as many top teams as it can, and it wanting to prove it had a GOOD program, NOT schedule teams like Northwestern. Perhaps if Northwestern gets it together in a few years (say for example 1987) and the AD is scheduling it's schedule for 1996, then perhaps schedule the game then. -Roy- Mail address : ...decvax!decwrl!rhea!vlnvax!karlson ------------------------------------------- End Forwarded Message
