It's the first Star Trek novelization I've read. I never wanted to read any of it cause I thought it would just be people trying to cash in on the name and wouldn't show much consistency - wrong again. Thoughts and comments -- Good book. Based on one of my favorite episodes; "All Our Yesterdays", seemed to hang in well with both the episode and the series. Only one slight time I noticed (Kirk) out of characterization was: Reprinted without permission (of course) "Kirk grinned (at McCoy) and headed for the door. 'I'll leave you to get him dressed and barbered. After all, I'm a starship Captain - not a valet.'" That does sound a little more like McCoy than Kirk to me. Nonetheless, it was a good work and I'd like if anyone can recommend (for or against) other Star Trek books. Thanks, Mary
