Precisely, Jon.  That book reached its final form around the middle of
1979, BEFORE the decision was made that the uprated Enterprise's
maximum speed should be warp 12, rather than warp 10.  Only around fall
did they decide this, but this was in time for several other items of
Trek paraphernalia.
