After ten years of requesting "Putney Swope" at the  New  Varsity,  Blue
Mouse,  and  God  knows  how many other movie houses, this little gem is
about to appear on the USA cable network Monday (October 17th.)   Anyone
who enjoys a good satirical treatment of advertising, TV, and capitalism
might want to tune in, especially if it isn't "mangled for TV."
