In case anybody is interested, Satellite News Channel will terminate
operations (according to the current internal schedule) at
3pm Pacific Daylight Time this coming Thursday 10/27.  Judging from
past similar events, the turnoff of SNC might be worth watching.

After termination, CNN Headline News will appear on the transponder,
at least for awhile.

P.S.  Local cable companies may have programmed their switchers
to cutoff the SNC transponder prior to or exactly at termination time.
