Someone recently asked me if I knew why bc was not
recognizing some of the functions documented in bc(1).

Looking around, I noticed that math library /usr/lib/lib.b
was missing from his system.  I took a look for source for this
library, but couldnt find any.  I then logged into another 
system (4.1) looking for either the library or  the source, 
but it was not there either. I then logged into a third system,
where it was again missing.

Was this library *ever* distributed?
