Hi,

Does anyone out there have any idea what could be causing this error:

Trace/BPT trap (core dumped)

This suddenly started occuring when anyone gives FINGER a login-name
argument, but occurs in no other case.  Other hints:  the gecos fields
here are screwed up to do accounting, and using sdb, finger bombs on
a line like matchcmp(pw->gecos,pw->p_name,p->name) or something close.
I tried fgreping the kernel source and couldn't find the error message
there.  Three cheers for the person who figures this out!!!
