I want to buy a VCR that will serve primarily for delayed viewing.
    
A local store is offering the JVC HR7300U at $569.

Their old price was $679 with list of $1100.

This looks good for my purposes, has anyone had experience with
this model and its general reliability?  The store has a lot in
stock.  In my experience, a large discount like this indicates
either new models coming or the product is a turkey.
