  I need information from anyone having  any first-hand experience 
  with Regulus or C from Alcyon of San Diego, CA. 

  I am considering using both Vax-Unix ( initial development ) and
  Regulus (field maintenance) to develop programs in C for
  a target, standalone 68000 (possibly ROM'ed) real-time application.
  The application will run under the VRTX (tm) real-time exec.
