It's called net.cog-eng (Cognitive Engineering) and started off with quite a lively discussion of several topics, including the relative merits of command and menu-based systems. It has been suggested by a few people that ARPANet participation in the group would be of great benefit to both communities. To this end, it would be most appreciated if someone would volunteer to create a parallel mailing list on the ARPANet, tie it to the USENet group, and possibly announce the new ARPA list in HUMAN-NETS, INFO-WORKS, and EDITOR-PEOPLE.
